The Lancashire and Cheshire Association are providing an Introduction to Local Taxation seminar at Haigh Hall, Wigan on Monday 24th June 2013.  This full day seminar is ideal for new or inexperienced staff, as well as staff who want to widen their knowledge of aspects of Local Taxation.  The seminar is competitively priced at £100 per delegate with members of the IRRV receiving a 50% discount on this rate.

In the current financial climate it is   particularly important for local authorities to ensure that Council Tax bills are issued promptly and accurately, with effective action being taken to collect     unpaid amounts.  This seminar will be particularly useful for colleagues who are new to Council Tax or who deal with Council Tax issues regularly in a customer services environment.  The seminar will also serve as a ‘refresher’ for more     experienced Council Tax staff, and is also an excellent opportunity to catch up with colleagues and representatives from other authorities and  organisation's.

A must attend event for all senior Revenues, Benefits and Finance Staff. The event is perfectly timed to provide updates on the information which due to be provided at the end of May.
